Pollard to concede Vancouver mayor's election

Vancouver Mayor Royce Pollard will concede defeat after the Nov. 3 election.

In a story from The Columbian, Pollard will hold a press conference at noon Nov. 6.

City councilman Tim Leavitt still leads Pollard by nine percent with 99 percent of the votes tallied.

Pollard says he is not calling the speech a concession, though. He plans to thank his supporters and wish the Leavitt well.

The King in his own mind was overthrown's picture

"Still, Pollard told The Columbian he is not calling the press conference a concession"

So then what is this news conference all about then? Baking in the glow of the media?

What King has ever happily given up his throne?

 The King is DEAD...finely.
